Getting paid is the point of passing an Evaluation, so the payout rules are worth knowing before you place your first trade. On Vanquish, you keep 100% of your profits, the minimum payout is $250 on every plan, and the average payout lands in about 15 minutes.
What changes from plan to plan is how often you can withdraw and what you need to have in place first. This page walks through the payout rules for all four plans, then explains the part many traders miss: what a withdrawal does to your loss limit.
For every other rule on each plan, our Vanquish Trader rules overview puts them side by side.
Payout rules at a glance
Plan | Minimum payout | Consistency to qualify | Activity needed | How often |
|---|---|---|---|---|
$250 | Best trade below 30% of total profit | None | Daily | |
$250 | Best day below 30% of total profit | 4 trading days since your last payout | At most every 4 trading days | |
$250 | None | None | Once every 24 hours | |
$250 | Best day below 50% of total profit | At least 3 trading days in practice | At most every 3 trading days |
A few rules apply on every plan:
- Payouts come from your Performance Account. Profit made during the Evaluation can’t be withdrawn.
- You keep 100% of your profits. There’s no profit split to work out.
- One request per day across all your accounts. If you run several Performance Accounts, plan which one to withdraw from each day.
- You don’t need to reach the Buffer first. It’s worth aiming for, though, for reasons covered further down.
Payout eligibility by plan
Basic Options
You can request a payout once you have at least $250 to withdraw and your best trade is less than 30% of your total profit. Requests can go in daily. Consistency on Basic Options is calculated across your full trade history and doesn’t reset after a payout, so steady trading keeps you eligible from one day to the next.
Advanced Options
You need $250 in profit, a best day under 30% of your total profit, and at least four trading days since your last payout. Both the consistency figure and the trading-day count reset after every payout. That puts your payout rhythm at no more than once every four trading days, with each cycle needing its own run of steady days.
Rapid Express
Rapid Express has the simplest payout rules. Once you have $250 in profit, you can request a payout, and you can do it again 24 hours later. There’s no consistency rule and no minimum number of trades. If a single SPY put covers the $250, you can withdraw it.
Rapid Elite
You need $250 in profit and a best day under 50% of your total profit. Consistency resets after each payout, and it takes at least three trading days to bring it back under 50%. In practice, that means a payout at most once every three trading days.
If you want to dig into the math behind those percentages, our guide to the consistency rule has worked examples and a quick-reference table.
Do you keep paying after you pass?
Yes. On every plan, the monthly fee continues on the Performance Account for as long as the account is active. It’s worth factoring in when you plan how much and how often to withdraw.
How to request a payout
- Pass your Evaluation. You’ll receive a Performance Account and can start trading on it straight away.
- Set up your Rise account. Payouts are processed through Rise (RiseWorks), and you’ll need a verified account, including KYC identity checks, before a payout can be sent.
- Meet your plan’s payout rules. That’s at least $250 in profit, plus your plan’s consistency and trading-day requirements. The payout button appears on your Vanquish dashboard once you’re eligible.
- Close your positions. Every open position needs to be closed before you submit, so your balance reflects realized profit.
- Choose your amount and submit. Requests can be made during regular market hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. The amount comes off your balance as soon as you submit, and you can keep trading afterward.
How long does a payout take?
The average payout lands in about 15 minutes. Every request runs through a review check first, and occasionally a request takes longer, up to two business days, if it needs a closer look or there’s a large volume of requests at once.
How you receive the money
Once your payout reaches your Rise account, you can withdraw it by ACH bank transfer in your local currency or as cryptocurrency (USDC or USDT). You don’t need a crypto wallet if you prefer a bank transfer. Rise issues year-end tax forms, such as a 1099, W-9 or W-8BEN depending on where you’re based.
There’s no cap on how much you can withdraw. As long as you meet your plan’s rules, every dollar of profit is yours to take.
How a payout affects your loss limit
This is the rule that catches traders out. When you withdraw, your equity drops by the amount you take out, but your loss limit stays exactly where it was. Every payout shrinks the room between your equity and your limit.
If your equity after a payout is at or below your loss limit, you still receive the payout, but the account is breached. You can withdraw everything, but only if you’re happy for that to be the end of the account.
Why the Buffer matters before you withdraw
Until you reach the Buffer, your loss limit trails your equity. After you reach it, the limit locks permanently and stops moving. The Buffer sits 5.75% above your starting equity on every plan, but the level your limit locks at depends on the plan’s drawdown:
Plan | Locked loss limit | On a $10,000 account |
|---|---|---|
Basic Options and Advanced Options (5% drawdown) | 0.75% above starting equity | $10,075 |
Rapid Express and Rapid Elite (3% drawdown) | 2.75% above starting equity | $10,275 |
Withdrawing before the Buffer leaves your limit trailing your last peak, so the room you give up comes straight out of a limit that’s still close behind you. Once the limit is locked, you know exactly where it sits, which makes it much easier to plan a withdrawal. Our guide to how the Buffer works explains the differences between plans, including when each one checks it.
How much can you safely withdraw?
Start with your locked loss limit, then decide how much room you want to keep for your next trades.
Take a $10,000 Basic Options account at $10,800, with the limit locked at $10,075:
Payout | Equity after | Room above the limit |
|---|---|---|
$300 | $10,500 | $425 |
$500 | $10,300 | $225 |
$700 | $10,100 | $25 |
$800 | $10,000 | Breached |
A $700 payout is allowed, but $25 of room means almost any open position could end the account. A smaller withdrawal keeps you trading with room to breathe. On Rapid Express or Rapid Elite, the same $10,800 account has a locked limit of $10,275, so the room after each payout is $200 smaller.
A simple habit helps: before every request, check that the room left after the payout covers a normal losing day for your strategy.
Vanquish Trader payout FAQ
How long does a Vanquish Trader payout take?
About 15 minutes on average. A request that needs a closer review can take up to two business days.
What is the minimum payout?
$250, on every plan.
Is there a maximum payout?
No. There’s no cap, and you keep 100% of your profits. Just remember that your loss limit doesn’t move when you withdraw.
How often can I request a payout?
It depends on the plan. Basic Options allows daily requests and Rapid Express allows one every 24 hours. Rapid Elite works out to at most once every three trading days, and Advanced Options once every four. On every plan, you can submit one request per day across all your accounts.
Can I withdraw profit from my Evaluation?
No. Payouts only come from a Performance Account, after you’ve passed.
Do I need to reach the Buffer before I withdraw?
No, but it’s the safer route. Before the Buffer, your loss limit is still trailing, and a payout cuts into the room you have left.
What happens if I withdraw all my profit?
You receive the payout, but your equity falls to or below your loss limit, so the account is breached and closes.
Can I combine profit from two accounts into one payout?
No. Each request comes from a single account, and you can make one request per day across all of them.
Why can’t I see the payout button?
It only appears once you meet your plan’s payout rules. Check that you have at least $250 in profit and that your consistency and trading days are where they need to be.
